Lebanon Forms New Government, Hizbollah Wins Seat
Prime Minister Fouad Siniora formed on Tuesday Lebanon's first government since Syrian forces quit the country, naming a senior member of the Hizbollah guerrilla group as a minister for the first time. Pro-Syrian President Emile Lahoud approved the 24-member government, made up of ministers mainly from groups that campaigned for Syria to end its influence in Lebanon.
