Hurricane Dolly Pounds US-Mexico Coast 
Hurricane Dolly caused severe damage as it battered the US-Mexico coast n Wednesday, July 23, 2008,with winds of up to 160 kilometers an hour, damaging buildings and power lines and ripping out trees. In the Mexican city of Matamoros, an estimated quarter of a million people have been left without drinking water. Dolly has now weakened and been downgraded to a tropical storm. Flood threats persist, however, across the Texas-Mexican border region.
