Seven Palestinians were killed by an Israeli helicopter attack in the southern Gaza Strip refugee camp of Rafah early Thursday, May 20, 2004. The death toll during the last three days reached 53 Palestinians. Twenty two were killed on Wednesday when Israeli occupation forces raided a peaceful demonstration where thousands were protesting a massive incursion in the refugee camp. It is one of the largest and bloodiest incursions in Gaza since Israel occupied it in 1967.
