Iran Safe From Possible UN Sanctions
Mohamed El-Baradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, confirmed in Vienna, that Iran has suspended all its uranium enrichment activity, Monday, November 29, 2004. Iran strongly denies US claims that it is trying to make nuclear weapons, saying its program will be used only for energy production. The UN decision came after Tehran agreed to a full freeze of all nuclear enrichment activities that could make uranium for atomic weapons.
